Edmyn Plumm is the second son and third child of Lord Ossifer and Lady Cyrenna. He serves on the King's council at Casterly Rock.
Edmyn was born in the Runefort, House Plumm's ancient seat. His House's bad relationship with House Lannister made it so that he was never sent to Casterly Rock to be fostered as is customary for noble Westermen.
And so he grew up in his father's lands as the youngest child. As a noble of an ancient House he has never wanted for anything and has grown up under the protection of his mother, who has always seen Edmyn as her favorite child. All this has made him "soft" in the eyes of his family and others. He is very well educated, speaking High Valyrian, two Free City dialects and some of the Summer Tongue. He reads much and knows more, but all this has come greatly at the cost of his skill at arms.
Edmyn was sent with King Damon as an adviser to the public and a spy for his father in secret. He traveled the Westerlands with him until they arrived at the Rock. He carried the secret letters of the love affair between the King and Edmyn's sister, Joanna.
Edmyn serves on the King's Council of Casterly. When Damon left for Oldtown to present his new laws to the lords of the Reach, he took Edmyn with him. In Oldtown he developed a romantic interest in Rhea Harte, his sister's handmaiden. Upon their return to Casterly Rock, their illicit relationship developed. Before leaving for the Riverlands with the King, Edmyn and Rhea slept together.

"Edmyn didn’t seem much like his father or mother or even his sister. He was a quiet fellow..." - thoughts of Damon Lannister
