Lord Forrest Umber was the eldest son of the late Lord Brandon Umber. He succeeded his father after Brandon's death in 498 AC and was killed in King's Landing by Ser Thaddius Lannister of the Kingsguard after the Ascent of the Lion.
History
Lord Forrest Umber and his younger brother Ser Halfjon Umber were born to Lord Brandon Umber.
Recent History
First Era
Forrest's father, Lord Brandon Umber, had been charged by Lord Edmure Stark with the task of rebuilding Moat Cailin before the beginning of the first era. The North feared invasion, and wanted to rebuild the ancient fortress. After Brandon's death the task fell to Forrest. It was completed before the end of the first era.
Second Era
Distraught over the death of his Lord, Edmure Stark, at the hands of his brother, Jojen Stark, and the subsequent events of the Ascent of the Lion, Forrest rode to Kings Landing.
