Harwin Grandison was the head of House Grandison and the Lord of Grandview until his death at the Sack of Oniontown, during the Stormlands civil war. He was married to Cassella Grandison, and was the proud father of Lynesse, Jaime, Samwell and Hamish Grandison.
Despite being a close friend to the rambunctious Orys Connington, Harwin was known throughout the Stormlands for his kindness, and was generally well liked.

In 513 AC, Harwin was present for the Sack of Oniontown. Tasked with blockading the docks by his Lord Paramount and friend Orys Connington, Harwin led a small team of Grandison men to prevent Seaworth loyalists from escaping by sea. He was slain by Cotter Pyke whilst intervening with the escape of Myranda Seaworth, and his body was dumped into Shipbreaker Bay.
